The SD1975 is Steeldive's take on the legendary "Tuna Can" dive watch — instantly recognisable by its protective shroud wrapping around the dial, a design that originated for genuine saturation diving and has become one of the most distinctive silhouettes in the diver-watch world. It stands well apart from the usual Submariner-style homages that dominate this price bracket.

This is a proper tool watch built for serious water resistance, not just a diver-styled dress piece. Rated to a genuine 300m, it's built on a substantial 47.5mm 316L stainless steel case with the full shroud construction, a screw-down crown, and a screwback case — the same core engineering approach used on real dive-rated watches, not a cosmetic depth rating. It's powered by a Japanese NH35 automatic movement with a 41-hour power reserve, and finished with a 120-click unidirectional ceramic bezel and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Swiss C3 and BGW9 luminous markers keep the dial legible in low light, whether you're timing a dive or just want serious presence on the wrist.

As with all our watches, we'd always recommend treating the stated water resistance as a guide rather than a guarantee — have it pressure-tested locally before regular swimming or diving use.
