The Steeldive SD1975 is a bold homage to Seiko's legendary "Tuna Can" — instantly recognisable by its distinctive protective shroud encasing the dial, a design originally built for professional saturation diving. It's one of the most visually striking watches in the affordable diver space, standing apart from the usual Submariner-style homages.
Built on a substantial 47.5mm case with a 316L stainless steel shroud, the SD1975 houses a Japan NH35 automatic movement with a 41-hour power reserve. It's rated to 300m water resistance with a screw-down crown and screwback case, finished with a 120-click unidirectional ceramic bezel and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Swiss C3 and BGW9 luminous markers keep it clearly readable in low light.
This is a genuinely large, statement watch — the shroud design means it wears bigger than the case diameter alone suggests, so it's best suited to those wanting a bold, distinctive piece rather than an everyday subtle watch.
Available in multiple dial and strap colours — see the options above to choose your preferred style.
