This is the diver for people who don't want a black one. The purple dial is the headline. It's rich, a little unexpected, and it deepens towards the edge so it looks different in shade than in sun. Over it sits a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, so the dial stays clear and the glass resists scratches. There's a sapphire-covered, 120-click unidirectional bezel too, which is a proper diver's detail. It's also available in salmon, blue and green if purple isn't your thing.

Now the honest bit. 200m is a rating, so if you plan to swim or snorkel regularly, have it pressure-tested locally first. Bracelets at this price can have a little play in the links, so don't expect luxury-watch tolerances. And the purple is a colour statement: if you want a quiet watch, pick the blue or the green.
